No.  This class is cardio kickboxing only.  You will punch, kick, elbow, and throw knees, but it will be against a bag or pads. 

No.  The class is set up so that women of all ages and fitness levels can have a fun and effective workout.  The class is as hard as you want to make it.  If you have never done any of the techniques before we will make sure that you recieve proper instruction.

Regular fitness atire will do fine.  If you have boxing gloves you should bring them.  We have house gloves you can borrow, but we encourage you to have your own so you don't have to use the "well used" gloves.  These gloves can be purchased through Octagon Gym at reduced prices.  Also be aware that the class is conducted in bare feet (on the very soft martial arts mats).  This is to maintain the quality of the mats, but it also creates a harder workout.  We do not have a water fountain, but we do have a drink machine with water, soda, and gatorade.  You may purchase drinks here or bring your own from home.

Our best offer is the monthly membership, which gives you access to as many classes as you want to attend for a flat rate.  You can try the first class for $4, and each additional visit is $8 if you choose not to buy the monthly option.
